Orion

Orion lived a life outdoors until a person decided to take him inside their home when he was about a year old. The person also brought his “sister” Aries inside as well. The person took care of several community cats on her property and had a cat flap so these guys could go in and out as they pleased. Orion was very skittish around people and bonded with his sister. His owner unfortunately suffered a stroke and was no longer able to care for them and both Aries and Orion came to us in June 2023 at 7 years old.

As months have went by at our Sanctuary, Orion is like a whole new cat now! He comes out all the time for staff, is very affectionate, and will even follow some staff around! He goes out on his catio a lot and hangs out in different areas in his room throughout the day. He seems very relaxed these days and is definitely helping Aries come out of her shell too!
