Snow

A family reached out to us about two female ferrets in need of a new home. Collectively, the family was unable to continue to care for the girls and since they were from a pet supply store, there was no “rescue” for them to go back to. Luckily, we had lots of room in our ferret area and welcomed Snow and Cookie at the end of October.

Snow is 4 years old and is a white albino ferret. She was purchased with a mate who passed away a few years prior which is what prompted the family to get her a friend, named Cookie. Snow and Cookie seem to love to be around one another and would even play with the cats at their last home! At the Sanctuary, both girls have been social, but Cookie is definitely the social butterfly with roommates Blanco and Rocky. As the mature noodle of the two, Snow often ignores the chaos and likes to explore the room, doing her own thing. We are happy to have such a fun group at the Sanctuary and look forward to seeing what’s next for Snow and Cookie!
