Pinky

Meet Pinky and Blu, our new guinea pig sisters! These gentle girls were surrendered to us at 6 months old when their family was leaving the country and unfortunately could not take them. Pinky is the mostly white with brown and Blu is the tan, brown and white tricolor. Both girls have been very nervous about the transition to the sanctuary so they will need a little time before they’re ready to interact with anyone. In the meantime, we’re putting their food and hay under their blanket hides so they can still enjoy some good snacks while they acclimate.

Pinky has been the more nervous of the two, not coming out of her hide very often and both girls often found under blankets. We hope family duo, Coffee and Pudding, continue to show them the ways of the Sanctuary with their happy squeals at mealtime and showing the girls its fun to take treats from the big humans. With Blu being the more confident of the two, we hope all the guinea pigs come together and Pinky can continue to come out of her shell. She has a beautiful coat and light blue eyes!
