Orion lived a life outdoors until a person decided to take him inside their home when he was about a year old. The person also brought his “sister” Aries inside as well. The person took care of several community cats on her property and had a cat flap so these guys could go in and out as they pleased. Orion is very skittish around people and is bonded with his sister. His owner unfortunately suffered a stroke and was no longer able to care for them and both Aries and Orion came to us in June 2023.
Current Status:
Orion is slowly becoming less shy with staff, and has actually been coming out for meal times and giving head bonks when we put food down. He moves around his room throughout the day, napping in different locations, which is good he’s becoming more comfortable in his space. Staff has started working with him and Aries and he’s been slowly taking some treats from staff!
