Background Story:

BB, aka Boots-with the snow white feet! And then there is the white chest that is set off by her shiny black coat. Can a dog be any cuter? She may be a Heinz 47 type mix-we see Border Collie, maybe a different herding breed-what do you think?

Adoption Info:

She is full of life, will walk well on those feet but would prefer to run! She is just under two years old and full of life, looking for a family to play frisbee, tug, or any outdoors game that comes to mind! She will sit with her people and watch tv but her limit is an hour before she is off and running, wanting to play. Her present owners understand that they can't be as active as BB would like and while they absolutely love her, they feel that they are no longer able to provide her with her best home. Cuddling is a favorite activity at the end of a long day. She does sleep in her crate. Ongoing positive training would be a plus but she already knows the basics of sit, stay, and come. In discussing with present owners what would be the best home for Boots, he did mention that as a veteran, he would love BB to live with another veteran. But the most important consideration is a single family home with a fence if at all possible. She can be dog social but owners feel that she'd be best as an only pet. Stats: she is almost 2, and a smaller gal at 40 lbs. To learn more about this great gal, please call Our Companions Animal Rescue at 860-242-9999 or e-mail to [email protected]
