Meet the tuxedo’ed beauty: Charlotte. Sweet Charlotte may not see the world as we do, but we can tell she feels the love!
Due to her family moving out of state and unfortunately being unable to continue her care, they reached out to Our Companions to start the re-homing process and soon we were able to secure a room at our Sanctuary. Some of Charlotte’s paperwork indicates she is 7 years old; she may be a bit older and does come with a list of medical needs that we plan to care for, examine, and help her heal in any way we can! She has confirmed kidney disease, heart disease, and takes medication for high blood pressure. She is blind in both eyes, but she might be able to see some shadows and light, along with some suspected hearing loss. Despite all of her medical needs, she’s still so sweet, gentle, and loving.
She’s still settling in, but our amazing Cat Team have been very observant to ensure she feels safe and comfortable during this transition. Charlotte seems to be very quick and adapt at figuring out her Sanctuary room and low cat tree already! We look forward to getting to know this sweetheart and making sure she feels loved during her time with us.
