Zoe

Zoe was found left behind in an apartment complex with severe injuries. She had a bite wound so deep, it left bite marks on her bones. Local animal control brought her to the emergency vet where they cared for her injuries. Since the bite wound was of unknown origin and her rabies history was also unknown, poor Zoe had to be quarantined for six months at the vet as she recovered. When she was given the all clear, Our Companions was contacted about Zoe’s story and need for a place to go. She had been cooped up for so long, she needed a place where she could get lots of play time and socialization. We welcomed Zoe in October of 2024 when she was estimated to be about 1.5 years old.

She was a bit nervous at first transitioning to her new environment, but once she settled in and started to make friends, Zoe’s personality started to shine! Being so young and having such a rough start at life, she appreciated the patience, attention and playtime from her new friends! Zoe simply enjoys having fun and engaging with her friends, whether that’s playing with new toys or claiming your lap for a nap! With some extra TLC, Zoe has truly thrived with us and we look forward to finding her a home where she can continue her journey!
