Adopted as a not too social kitten, Parsnip and her brother Penguin lived in a furnished barn alongside their families home. When the family needed to downsize and move they weren’t able to bring Penguin and Parsnip along. The new homeowners tried to care for them initially, but discovered their caretaker was allergic and no longer able to. They had a temporary stay at a boarding facility before joining the Sanctuary in January.
Still the friendlier one of the Parsnip/Penguin duo she has been getting used to greeting new visitors and expanding her base of friends. She is also learning to adapt to the sounds of the washer and dryer in their room.
