Coming to us all the way from the Shire, Frodo found his way to our Animal Sanctuary! Frodo is estimated to be 10-years-old and is a neutered chihuahua mix. He had some difficult life experiences in his years that left him in need of some extra TLC. His past has made him weary of new people and new environments. Our Companions was contacted by the municipal shelter that was housing him for hopeful adoption as they noticed his potential but knew he was not in the right environment to help him heal.
So far, Frodo has been doing really well with settling in to his new routines and is slowly meeting new staff – at his pace, of course. He seems to have enjoyed meeting a few new faces, and he is definitely enjoying all the yummy treats he gets during the process too! We look forward to learning more about you, Frodo!
