Frank

A couple adopted Frank as a young puppy and welcomed him to their home. Shortly after, they also welcomed another dog and things were going well for those first few years. When the couple decided to expand their family again, this time with a baby, Frank wasn’t too sure about sharing his home with a young child. Frank became fearful and anxious in the home. The couple was able to manage Frank during those initial years, but soon after they welcomed a second child, they weren’t too sure if they could provide Frank the home he deserved. They eventually made the difficult decision to rehome Frank and contacted Our Companions. We welcomed Frank to our Sanctuary in November of 2024 at the age of 6 years old.

Around 60lbs, Frank is one big love bug! This Rhodesian Ridgeback mix been slowly settling in to his new life at the Sanctuary, but appreciates all the affection and attention from his new friends. You’ll either find Frank laser focused playing ball or cuddling up the couch patiently waiting for butt scratches! Though he hasn’t been with us for long, we know Frank is ready to find his next home and a beautiful next chapter with a family that can give him the life he needs to thrive!
