Cowboy
A family had just moved from Texas to Connecticut and decided to welcome a baby male guinea pig to their home. Given their Texan roots, the son of the family decided to name their new pet guinea pig Cowboy! They cared and loved Cowboy for about 5 years, until the family had to move to an apartment that had a strict no pet policy. They made the difficult decision to rehome Cowboy and contacted Our Companions for assistance. We welcomed the happy guy to our Sanctuary in November of 2024 at the age of 5.
Cowboy instantly settled into his habitat at our Sanctuary and loved the attention from his new friends! His previous family noted how much he loved lettuce and would happily squeal for a snack once he heard a bag of lettuce being opened! Cowboy loves being held, hanging out on your lap, and also enjoys socializing with other male guinea pigs during their free roam time. Given how friendly he is and how quickly he settled in with us, we know Cowboy is ready to start a new chapter in a home where he can give a family lots of laughs and love!
