Animal Helpline Volunteers
Our Companions Helpline Volunteers respond to thousands of messages from the community every year and give advice on animal-related issues. Volunteers need to be comfortable speaking to clients, coaching through challenging situations and offering positive solutions.
These are all remote opportunities with an occasional in-person requirement for meetings and training.
General Requirements:
- Daily computer access (not a tablet) is required.
- Minimum time commitment is approximately 5 hours per week.
- Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Applicants must complete an orientation and training program.
