Background Story:
When Chole and Mila’s pet guardian needed to move to an assisted living facility that did not accept pets. Her local animal control was able to help temporarily, but their facility really is not set up to house cats. Luckily, we had space at our Sanctuary to be able to welcome the two gorgeous gals.
They are about 5 years old. Chloe is a dark dilute calico who now welcomes us at the door of her room with the cutest little meows and rubs! Initially shy, she has really started to warm up to everyone! Mila is a brown tabby. She has been more “confident” from the start and loves to get pets!
As they continued to settle into the Sanctuary, we noticed more hissing and swatting towards one another. They were not ‘snuggly’ with each other or present a lot of bonding behaviors, leading us to believe they may have coexisted alright in a full house, but being in a room together was not ideal. Before anything got too intense, we separated Chloe and Mila so they had their own special rooms. Chloe has continued to show she prefers the single life away from other cats. Mila has been cautiously exploring more of the downstairs living room with Violet, but is also coming out of her shell more in her own bedroom suite. We are happy to continue the journey to get to know both Chloe and Mila on their own, and help them in getting adopted too.

Chloe is a beautiful 5-year-old dilute calico with a soft, inquisitive nature and a love for play! Sweet Chloe is ready for a new beginning after her pet guardian had to move to an assisted living facility that unfortunately couldn’t accommodate pets. Chloe is a spirited hunter who loves chasing toys through tunnels and playing with pom pom toys. She also enjoys catnip and stretching on her vertical scratcher. After all these activities, Chloe will affectionately request a lot of chin scratches and head to tail gentle pets. Sweet Chloe will thrive in a home with adults or a family with older children and seems to like the “single life” as your only kitty!
