Celebrating 20 Years

Message from Our CEO

Twenty years ago, Our Companions Animal Rescue was merely a depilated factory farm and a dream of creating a Sanctuary where special-needs animals could be rescued and rehabilitated. During our 20 year journey we have not only realized our initial dream, but have grown to provide a host of programs that address the core issues that lead to animal suffering and homelessness.

Today, Our Companions is a tangible, living, breathing entity with a cadre of 35 staff, nearly 400 volunteers, strong leadership and an annual budget of $1.5 million dollars (and growing). Together, all of these facets support the organization’s ever-expanding programs designed to keep people and pets together – all made possible by its donors.

As we celebrate this milestone we have our donors, volunteers and staff to thank for giving us the privilege to do this important work and keep our promise to always do the right thing for animals.

Thank you for making this work possible. We’ve just gotten started!

Gratefully,
