Young Zatanna was found as a stray, picked up by a local animal control officer, and brought to the nearest vet hospital for examination. She was diagnosed with Pyometra, a bacterial infection in the uterus, which could be a life-threatening condition. However, she underwent a spay surgery and recovered well in the hospital. She was brought to our Sanctuary in June of 2024, estimated to be a year old, to continue healing. Over the few weeks she’s been with us, she can be quite shy, but also very sweet. Zatanna also has displayed moments of drooling and instability with her mobility that will need further medical investigation.
