When this 9-year-old darling was brought to the vet, staff rallied quickly as it was clear she wasn’t being well cared for. Covered with bug-filled mats and very overweight, the “pet guardians” were convinced by the staff to surrender her to the vet instead of euthanizing her for convenience. The vet team knew she needed a new lease on life – they gave her the spa treatment for her fur and skin, and she was all purrs and affection! We were contacted right away, and it was not long before we were able to take over her care, naming her Violet.
She arrived at over 20lbs and has limited sight but is settling in nicely and getting to know her new space. Despite all that she’s been through, she has been incredibly sweet and loving to her new friends at the Sanctuary. Violet is such an inspiration, and we look forward to giving this girl all the love she needs to feel happy and healthy! We can’t wait to see you bloom!
