Twix
A cat so delicious, we named him Twix!
This handsome man we named Twix was found as a stray and brought to a local municipal shelter. At the municipal shelter, he was having difficulty eating and was frequently vomiting. A vet exam showed he had cracked teeth and was probably experiencing pain when eating. He underwent some dental work which helped his eating habits, however we believe he had been dealing with pain with eating for quite a long time. We have noticed he doesn’t use his teeth at all when eating, swallowing his food whole, which was causing him to vomit. Now at our Sanctuary, our innovative and creating Cat Team has been finding ways to feed him in order to minimize his regurgitation – and of course to help him find a forever home too!
Twix is estimated to be 9-10 years old, has striking tabby stripes; he is neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He loves his playtimes and fluffy beds, taking a catnap in his window nook, and getting pets from people. He has been eating well and improving every day! Now that the weather is warming, you’ll often find him lounging on his catio.
