It takes a village to make sure the Sanctuary is well cared for - as a beautiful place of peace for the animals, staff and volunteers! There are a few ways you can help - and a long term commitment is not required (though always welcome).

Garden Volunteer:

Assist with the upkeep of gardens at our Ashford Sanctuary including weeding, pruning and mulching. All tools and supplies provided.

 

Small Repairs Volunteer:

Assist with the upkeep and repair of the facilities at Our Companions Sanctuary in Ashford. Repairs can include minor household type repairs like replacing a faucet, painting, minor mower/trimmer repairs and more! Tools and supplies provided.

 

Yard Care Volunteer:

Assist with the care of lawns and dog play yards at Our Companions Sanctuary in Ashford using a riding mower and/or push mower Weed trimming around buildings and signs is also needed. Tools and supplies provided.
