Housewarming Party for our Small Animals

We here at Our Companions Animal Rescue are so very excited to open our doors to our newest species this summer! This July we will be unveiling our newest cottage, Suzanne’s Place, at our Ashford sanctuary, which will house species that we never have before, including guinea pigs, rats, mice, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils. Suzanne’s Place was built last summer as part of our latest expansion, along with Twilight House for dogs and Minnie’s Mews for cats. This endeavor will be a first for us, and in preparation of the grand opening, we will be holding a housewarming party wish list event to help welcome our newest furry friends to our sanctuary!

Help us get the party started! We want to welcome our new small animal guests with a housewarming party! Please consider purchasing a housewarming gift from our Amazon wish list filled with crucial supplies to make our small animal friends feel right at home!

Just like dogs and cats, these small animals will need basic necessities such as food and bedding, but also enrichment to make their lives mentally stimulating and fun. You can click here for more specific information related to small animal enrichment. They will also need enclosures in which they can live and interact with others of their own species. Though they may be small, these critter cuties require lots of supplies and care to live an enriching, fulfilled life while they wait for their furever families. Every gift purchased gets sent directly to our Sanctuary at Suzanne’s Place ready for when our new guests arrive!

Opening our first-ever small animal cottage at our Sanctuary has been a huge endeavor and we greatly appreciate all your help to successfully welcome our doors to these animals in need of our specialized care.
