Delicious, delightful, and oh-so playful! Meet young cat, Hoagie!
Sweet Hoagie was found outside of a woman’s workplace as a very young kitten, born in the summer of 2025. Seeing how friendly Hoagie was, the woman took Hoagie in until he could find a real forever home. Although the woman knew she could not keep Hoagie indefinitely, her roommate’s cat made it clear he did not want to share his space with a kitten. Hoagie was able to stay with his guardian’s room until he was neutered and a space could be made available for him at our Sanctuary.
Hoagie is a lovely and very active kitty who enjoys playing sessions that include chasing fast-moving toys (wands are his favorite!), zooming through tunnels, and climbing all the way to the top of his cat tree to watch over everything – prey in mouth! Hoagie is also an expert at turning anything into a toy: paper balls, cardboard boxes, shoelaces and even the kitchen broom! So creative!
Besides his adorable energetic nature, Hoagie is also very soft-spoken, and his tiny meows are simply the cutest! When playtime winds down, Hoagie loves to settle in close, finding the perfect spot on the couch beside you, or even perching on your shoulders to purr and dream about his next big adventure. Now, we just need to find him a home of his own! We haven’t introduced him to other cats yet, and with his past experience we aren’t sure yet if he’d like a home with other pets or maybe just a single to soak up all your love!
