Community Cat Resources

Community cats are unowned cats who live outdoors. Like pet cats, they belong to the domestic cat species (Felis catus). However, community cats (also called feral cats) are often not socialized to people. They can live full, healthy lives with their feline families (called colonies) in their outdoor homes.

Trap-Neuter-Return is the only humane and permanently effective way to reduce the population of community cats while helping them live happy healthy lives.

Our Companions Community Cat Programs offers a Trap Training Program that provides our clients with training, equipment, and volunteer support to safely TNR cats in their care. Our Companions also provides warm cat shelters, food donations and veterinary services.
