When the pandemic struck, we had to ensure that the animals at our Sanctuary received the same level of care they always have while also ensuring the safety of our staff and volunteers. Our special-needs cats and dogs require consistency and a high level of customized care to recover from past abuse, neglect and trauma.
We also had to find ways to safely and effectively deliver our many other programs to meet the needs of the community, by providing affordable veterinary care for families in need, dog behavioral training, adoption, retention and re-homing services, just as we have for nearly 20 years.
Now more than ever, the community needs us. Now more than ever, we need you. To reach our budget, we have to raise over $700,000 between now and the close of our fiscal year on December 31, 2020.
If you are in a position to help, we would be deeply grateful if you might consider making a generous gift to Our Companions this fall. Every gift will bring us a step closer to meeting this important goal.
On behalf of our staff, volunteers, clients and animals, we thank you for your commitment to our mission.
