We are happy to announce that we met the Charles and Christine Shivery Foundation Annual Fund Challenge! Thanks to you, we exceeded the goal for our Annual Fund, and secured a $100,000 Challenge grant!
Thank you for helping us take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and thank you for your support throughout 2021. We know these continue to be challenging times, and we know that there are countless wonderful organizations vying for your generosity. We are deeply grateful for your commitment. It is because of you that we can keep our promise to do the right thing for pets in need, both at our Sanctuary and through our unique, life-saving programs.
We also want to thank the Charles and Christine Shivery Foundation for putting forth this special Challenge in honor of our 20th anniversary! Charles and Christine have been with us since the beginning and their investment in our work over the years has played a key role in our ability to make an ever-growing impact in the community.
Thank you again for your kindness and for making everything we do possible.

Reading OC’s updates and news letters are the highlight of my day! So often one never knows for sure how donations are used. No so with OC….. the regular updates and new letters
not only instill confidence but also a deep sense of happiness is supporting the animals we all love…. even -and most especially- the challenging ones.
