Eleanor

Our Companions was contacted by an animal control municipal shelter for assistance the day after a young domestic rabbit was surrendered by her previous owner. Often, municipal shelters are not equipped to house rabbits and it can be a very stressful environment for our gentle prey companions! This female bunny was adopted as a baby from a pet store and surrendered after being in the home for 3-4 months. Luckily, we had room for the little bunny right away and she did not have to spend much time at the municipal shelter.

We named the cutie Eleanor and often call her “Elle”! She came to us at about 6 months old, born in December 2025. We had her spayed, vaccinated, and she currently has a clean bill of health! She settled in nicely and has been the most energetic bun at Suzanne’s Place! She is bouncy and friendly to meeting new people, and has enjoyed all her free roam time! When the weather is warm, Elle loves to be out in her fully enclosed “bun-galow”, running around her playscape. Now that we know our Elle, we can’t wait to find her a match!
