Background Story:

Enjoy a cuddly and cute cup of ‘Earl Grey’ today!

Two orange-cream boys, estimated to be around 11 years old upon their arrival in December 2025, were living together in a home when their owner sadly passed away. They were alone in the home for about a week before an animal control officer picked them up and contacted Our Companions for help. Earl Grey has cysts in his ears, kidney disease, wounds on his rear hocks, and in need of dental work; Tetley came to us without any teeth and has a few cysts on his ears.

Earl Grey became quite social while Tetley was historically hiding. We started to notice the boys were tolerating each other versus showing a true bond. After a scuffle at their door, we decided to separate the boys to see how they would act apart. Earl Grey stayed his social self, and Tetley ended up being more confident, eating better, and coming out for pets! Earl Grey loves to play, cuddle, and is always eager to greet you at the door with a welcoming meow. Wishing both boys the best in finding their forever homes!

Adoption Info:

Enjoy Earl Grey snuggles in the morning, at lunch, and before bed! A perfect pair for any time of day! Early Grey is a light cream-colored kitty, estimated to be born in fall 2015. He’s become quite a companion at our Sanctuary and we can’t wait to find him a real forever home! Earl is friendly, sweet, social, cuddly, and playful. While with us, he received dental work (11 extractions!) and has some medication drops for itchy ears. This total lap cat is negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV negative; up to date on vaccinations and ready to spread joy to a new home and family. Early Grey loves to be pet all over, we haven’t found any dislikes for this guy! He’d love an adult home with quiet activities – and did we mention cuddles?!
