She sparkles with kindness – meet Crystal!
Crystal was about 8 years old when she made her way to our animal Sanctuary in December 2025. She was experiencing mobility issues while living in a multi-pet home. In the home itself, Crystal did not have a lot of alone time or space to retreat from the other cat and dog, creating extra tension and possible pain/discomfort. With her mobility issues, it created even more unwanted stress on Crystal in the home, and her pet guardian knew the space was not conducive for healing.
After consultations and diagnostic plans with their veterinarian and knowing Crystal was not doing well alongside the other pets, the family decided it was in Crystal’s best interest to get rehomed. Given her mobility issues will most likely require surgery, we were able to secure a room at our Sanctuary for her. We brought her to the Sanctuary before any surgical intervention so she can settle into a new, calmer environment before further intervention. She is now with us in her own room along with plenty of safe, comfy spots to enjoy, and receiving the medical care she requires to feel happy and healthy. We also heard she only ate treats for her meals so the first task for our Cat Team is finding yummy wet foods she finds delicious! Crystal is still acclimating to our Sanctuary, but we can’t wait to learn more about this lovely girl and provide the help and healing she needs to thrive.
