Coffee is the third guinea pig we took in within a month that was abandoned by a student after leaving college. Coffee, and his dad Pudding, were adopted in December 2024 and left behind when the college student moved out in April 2025. Thankfully, Animal Control was contacted, and we had an immediate spot open for the father and son duo. When they arrived to our Sanctuary, Coffee was around 7 months old with mostly brown and black on his face and Pudding was around 15 months old with mostly white on his face.
Both boys are enjoying a habitat together and so far are doing well. They have been understandably nervous at first, but we are starting to see them zoomie around their habitat and they are certainly enjoying their fresh veggies! We’re so happy to have them with us and look forward to learning more about the pair so that we can find them the best match for adoption. As the guys settled into Sanctuary life, Coffee has stayed the homebody while Pudding likes to go on more adventures, meeting other species and hanging out with staff in the office! Both are darling and are enjoying more and more ‘spoils’ from their human friends now. Sharing a room with even shier piggies, Coffee and Pudding and showing the ways of the world to Blu and Pinky!
