Cher was found as a kitten living in the “great outdoors” but was young enough to be socialized. The colony caregiver has been working on fostering the kittens from a community cat group, while getting the adults spayed and neutered. She and her brother Sonny came to the sanctuary and were very friendly and social right off the bat. They love to play with each other, get snuggled, play with humans, be held, and enjoy the spotlight. They initially tested positive for FIV, which is a common diagnosis for kittens. They often test positive if their mother had it, even if they themselves don’t have it. They’ll be retested again in six months.
