Background Story:

Through no fault of his own Charlie has had to move from one family to another and then to foster care. Let’s find him his forever home!

Adoption Info:

Charlie is a great boy who listens and loves to be with you. He is a friendly 18 lb Shih Tzu who just wants to please. He is easy to walk, doesn’t pull, and is respectful of other dogs. Through no fault of his own Charlie has had to move from one family to another and then to foster care. And yet at about 8 years old he remains a goofy boy who enjoys being with his family, but he can also stay home alone with no issues. Charlie loves his toys, riding in the car, and belly rubs. He entertains himself by tossing his big lamb or teddy bear into the air and wondering where it goes. He also cuddles with teddy bear and uses it as a pillow when sleeping on his favorite dog bed. Charlie has some tough issues with his ears. His forever home will need to be vigilant with his ear medications and a special diet. Charlie will thrive in a home with active people who take walks, like to hang outside and can spend lots of quality time with this sweet boy.
