Sanctuary Arrival Date
Trapped in a cage as part of a feral trapping project they discovered the Captain was really pretty friendly. Animal control took this 3ish year old stray in, had him vetted and tried to adopt him out twice. Spending a little too much time on the street this feisty little guy with a big personality had to relearn some better social behaviors, which he is currently in the process of doing.
Captain has been doing really well with all of his training that he’s working on. He is a younger boy with lots of energy he needs to get out and isn’t a huge fan of a lot of petting so the training staff does with him is a good way to tire him out. Captain loves to be brushed, so instead of getting overstimulated with petting, staff and volunteers are offering the brush to him when visiting. He hasn’t been very playful in the past, but with target training to his toys he has been playing more with volunteers this past month.
