Background Story:

Enjoy a warm and affectionate cup of ‘Tetley’ today!

Two orange-cream boys, estimated to be around 11 years old upon their arrival in December 2025, were living together in a home when their owner sadly passed away. They were alone in the home for about a week before an animal control officer picked them up and contacted Our Companions for help. Earl Grey has cysts in his ears, kidney disease, wounds on his rear hocks, and in need of dental work; Tetley came to us without any teeth and has a few cysts on his ears.

Tetley was historically hiding while Earl Grey became quite social. We started to notice the boys were tolerating each other versus showing a true bond. After a scuffle at their door, we decided to separate the boys to see how they would act apart. Earl Grey stayed his social self, and Tetley started to come out of his shell. He started to eat more and now comes out for pets and brushing with a gentle coax. Wishing both boys the best in finding their forever homes!

Adoption Info:

Like a calming cup of tea, Tetley is a gentle orange boy looking for an equally gentle person to take him home! He can be a very sweet, affectionate cat who now comes out for pets and brushing with a gentle coax. This older gentleman is also quite healthy with an estimated DOB of September 2015. Tetley came to us without any teeth but he’s still a pretty good eater! Tetley was not doing the best with the other male cat he came in with; doing better on his own we feel he will thrive as a single pet in a quiet home where he can feel safe and secure with is people. Give him some time and he will sit on your lap or come down from snuggling in his cat tree for a brushing session.
