Poppy

Springtime is bringing all the blooms! Say hello to 3.5-year-old Poppy! This beautiful guinea pig was found abandoned in a dorm room. She was left behind by a student once they moved out for the school year. Animal control picked up Poppy and contacted Our Companions for assistance.

Poppy continues to settle in, but is absolutely loving her big, new habitat with fuzzy fleece and comfy cave beds to enjoy! Plus, we’ve learned that she’s semi “potty trained” and will use the bathroom in her designated corner in her habitat- how cool! Our Small Animal Team started to socialize Poppy with the PowerPuff Piggies, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, and she loved getting to interact with her new friends. Poppy and the PowerPuff Piggies now share one big habitat together and are all up for adoption! Poppy’s personality is already popping with a love for life and it has been such a joy to see her shine! We cannot wait to learn more about her and help search for her forever home.
