Background Story:
Originally, Nougat was adopted from a municipal shelter with 16 other bunnies rescued from a hoarding case. It was a surprise when Nougat had to be returned, as her owner could no longer take care of her. We were contacted about the single bunny in need of a safe place to land and we welcomed Nougat to the Sanctuary in March 2025.
Nougat is a 2-year-old sweetheart! She is a mini-rex rabbit with white and grey/brown fur. She will still need to be spayed and get her vaccinations updated, but is otherwise settling in beautifully. She is full of curiosity, is very friendly, and love searching for treats in her stack cups. She has been quite the social butterfly with people and our other resident guests! She appears to be a young, healthy rabbit just looking for some love!

Nougat is the sweetest treat for anyone craving a calm, gentle bunny friend. Born in March 2023, this young bun is sweet, calm, and soft as can be! She is a mini rex with taupe-like speckles on her luxurious white fur. She has lived around other bunnies but has not pushed a lot of interaction with others. She is calm and content and may do just fine as a single bunny pal. All our adoptable bunnies are free roaming and enjoy supervised exploration time! She has an adorable bunny bed she will sometimes rearrange the blankets on to have a nap or climb on top of her hutch. She also loves stretching out on the floor in sunshine to relax. Nougat loves spending time sitting on the floor with her people. She will thrive in a calm home as she can become quite nervous in new environments. Nougat needs people who can enjoy quiet activities with her as she becomes familiar with a new home and new people to snuggle with!
