Reese

Reese was around two months old when she was initially adopted from a local pet store. After a few months, Reese’s previous pet guardian noticed she was skittish, shy, and lonely. She wondered if another female guinea pig would help her come out of her shell. The pet guardian was also dealing with personal medical issues and came to the difficult conclusion that she couldn’t five Reese the life she needed. The pet guardian reached out to Our Companions to assist with rehoming Reese. We welcomed sweet Reese to our Sanctuary in December of 2024 at the age of 7 months old.

Reese was not held often in her previous home, but has made a lot of progress with being held and getting comfortable with her new friends. Once she warms up to you, Reese is such a sweetheart and loves to cuddle! She loves nuzzling herself on your chest and enjoy pets. She is definitely coming out of her shell and has been social with the other girl guinea pigs during her free roam time. We love watching this girl blossom, hope to find her a home where she can continue to shine!
