Rescue Cottage ~ Feline Level

Enter kitty heaven.  For feline protection, you enter this cat-exclusive level of the Rescue Cottage via a foyer that creates a secure entrance for both people and our cat residents.

A high-ceiling main room greets you.  It features tall vertical planes and nooks that are imperative to the good behavioral health for a family of cats.  Check closely for the warm eyes greeting you from the cat coves and crannies and listen for the soothing sound of purring balls of warm fur. 

Our feline residents will have the ability to travel room to room without ever touching the floor via a system of wide wooden rafters.  Cat doors lead into an elevated outdoor enclosure. Large, feline-level windows will flood the cottage with the heat and warmth of sunlight, making the napping opportunity divine.  Individual, unique cat napping nests will dot the rooms. 

For the caretaker and for future use, the feline habitat will include a dining room, kitchen, pantry, and an office.  A caretaker bedroom with bath will also be included as well as a secure outdoor enclosure so cats can access a fenced area featuring plants, shrubs, and a garden area to explore.  Play areas, ladders, scratching posts, and cat toys will provide activity and fun both outside and within the cat home.

Private suites for cats, kittens, and mothers with litter will be available as well as a spacious community room for the more social feline residents.
