 On Oct. 6th, 2007, Our Companions joined in with marching bands, dancers, stilt walkers, clowns, antique cars, and much more in the West Hartford Park Road Parade!

 Our Companions participated in the Dog Leg Classic Golf Event which was held September 29, 2007 at the Gillette Ridge Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut. |
Same Steps Home™, a joint endeavor of Fresh Step and the ASPCA, was created in 2000 to help cats in need. Our Companions was the recipient of this prestigious grant, and participated in the Fresh Step Pet Den at the Animal Planet Expo on August 11 and 12th, 2007. |

 On October 24, 2006 the Flatbread Company in Avon made a donation to Our Companions for every pizza sold between 5 and 9 pm. In addition, there were some great raffle prizes given away! |

Friday October 9th, 2009 was an historic occasion in Our Companions history: our first Comedy Show! Judging from the laughter in the CREC Theatre of the Performing Arts auditorium, on Washington Street in Hartford, it was a lot more fun than most historic occasions! Tina Georgi and Louis Ramey had an appreciative crowd roaring with laughter, after a lively two-hour pre-show reception.
