Profile:
Maximus had a common problem-he was a young, strong German Shepherd
dog with the capacity to hurt his owner with his exuberance!
Additionally, he required obedience training, was hard to handle
when people came to the house and was dog-reactive.
Action:
Our Companions set up bi-monthly lessons to work with Maximus at
home. These lessons spanned the course of several months in order
to help Maximus control his enthusiasm around people and to learn
to listen and respect his "mom," Arlene.
Result:
Maximus is easier to manage when people come to the house. The
ultimate goal for Maximus is to be able to attend "Doggie
School" so he can continue his training around other dogs.
At the rate he is improving, it won't be long until he is able
to enroll in his first class. |
